I think the most important aspect of planning the event would be to let students know that although the event is hosted by a religion class you do not have to be religious to attend or for the event to be relevant to you.
Perhaps a movie followed by questions or discussion after would be a good way to draw people in since the event spans a few days we could watch both superhero and horror/supernatural films. We could also provide snacks like popcorn, and drinks as well for the films.
To get the word out for the event and draw people in we could send out emails, make announcements in other classes if we feel comfortable and also create fliers for the event.
